Leoson teaches creative writing, literature, film, English composition, and psychology at the college level. She loves to write with her dogs at her feet and survives on decaf coffee and protein bars. She hopes to leave a positive imprint on the world through storytelling and teaching. Leoson is a Doctoral Candidate in English Pedagogy and she holds an MFA in Creative Writing, an MA in English & Writing, and an MS in Psychology. She also has formal training in both Narrative Medicine Facilitation and Digital Media Composition. Her writing has been featured in Coffin Bell Journal, Twisted Vine Literary Journal, Obra/Artifact, GNU Journal, on NPR's "This I Believe" series, and in various anthologies.
